If you are planning to visit to Kuala Lumupr, Malaysia with a minimum spending in your trip, consider the following location.

Most of Kuala Lumpur's histotic sights are located in and around the Merdeka Square/Jalan Hishamuddin area, while many of the gardens, parks and museums are out at Lake Gardens, Taxi Fafe between the tow location should run about RM 10

A 24-hour ticket costs RM38 adults and RM17 children; once you purchase your ticket, you can hop on and off the bus as many times as you like within this period.

1. PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS

LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Standing at an awesome 452m (1,483 ft.) above street level, with 88 stories, the towers were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 (when Taipei 101 snatched the title). From the outside, the structures are designed with the kind of geometric patterns common to Islamic architecture, and on levels 41 and 42, the two towers are linked by a bridge. Visitors are permitted on the viewing deck on the bridge from 9am to 7pm every day except Mondays and public holidays. Also note that the viewing deck closes every Friday from 1 to 2:30pm. Otherwise, the building is accessible only if you are conducting business inside. Limited free tickets go fast, so line up early -- the ticket counter is on the lower ground (concourse) level of the Twin Towers.
2. MENARA KUALA LUMPUR

LOCATION: No. 2 Jalan Puncak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Standing 421m (1,381 ft.) tall, this concrete structure is the 7th-tallest tower in the world, and the views from the top reach to the far corners of the city and beyond. The tower rises up from a tropical forest in the center of the city, where visitors can sign up for guided tours through forest trails, visit an exotic animal farm, and ride ponies or Formula One Grand Prix simulators. There's a free shuttle to the tower from the main entrance at Jalan Puncak, next to the Pacific Regency Hotel. The ticket price includes entrance to all the attractions. 3. BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE THEME PARK

This place rocks! Formerly called Cosmo's World Themepark, it's an indoor amusement park that is literally built into the walls of Berjaya Times Square, a 900-outlet shopping mall. You don't even need to ride the looping roller coaster to feel that thrill in the pit of your stomach. In all, there are 14 rides -- recommended for families with active kids.
4. NATIONAL MUSEUM

LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

HOURS:Daily 9am-6pm
Built in the style of a grand Malay palace, the National Museum traces the nation's history from prehistoric times through today, with exhibits on ancient Malay kingdoms and the Colonial era, among others. This museum offers a good overview of Malaysian history and culture. There are free guided tours Monday to Thursday and Saturday at 10am.
5. CENTRAL MARKET 

LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

HOURS:Daily 10am-10pm. Shops open until 9-9:30pm
The original Central Market, built in 1936, used to be a wet market, but the place is now a cultural center (air-conditioned!) for local artists and craftspeople selling antiques, crafts, and curios. It's fantastic for buying Malaysian and Asian crafts and souvenirs, with two floors of shops from which to choose.

6. PETALING STREET
LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
This is the center of KL's Chinatown district. By day, stroll past hawker stalls, dim sum restaurants, wet markets, and all sorts of shops, from pawn shops to coffin makers. At night, a crazy bazaar (which is terribly crowded) pops up -- look for designer knockoffs, fake watches, and pirated CDs and DVDs here.

7. NATIONAL ART GALLERY




LOCATION: 2 Jalan Temerloh, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In a tranquil complex that combines traditional Malay architectural elements with modern lines, the nation's most prominent art gallery claims a permanent collection of over 2,500 works, most by Malaysia's most celebrated contemporary artists. The museum has six galleries, plus outdoor exhibitions and a cafe.
